Instructional and Farm League: Grades K, 1, and 2. NO EVALUATIONS.
Practices begin the week of 12/7 and continue through 2/13. Teams practice/play once during the week and on Saturday mornings.
Minors, Majors and Seniors: Grades 3-8. Evaluations as listed below. Teams practice once during the week and with games on Saturdays. Practices begin the week of 10/26 and games begin the first week of December through late February.
High School: Grades 9-12. Evaluation date TBD. Practices and games typically begin in December and run through early March.

There is a $5.00 family discount per player after the 1st child.
*Please Note: There is a $25.00 late fee for registrations received after the registration deadline dates. For registrations received after these deadlines, players will be accepted only if there is space available. Please don’t wait to register and chance having your child excluded from the upcoming season.

RECREATIONAL COACHING INFORMATION
The Annual Coaches Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 15th at 6:30 PM in the MES Cafeteria to discuss coaching assignments. We urge all perspective coaches to attend this meeting. Please note that you MUST register as a volunteer under the Blue Sombrero website to be considered for a coaching position. Verbal or emailed requests to coach will not be accepted as it often causes confusion. Be sure to choose all coaching positions you are willing to accept. Coaching Requirements: (1) Coaches must be NYSCA certified through 3/31/2016; (2) Must complete concussion training program; (3) all coaches (head & assistant) are subject to a confidential background check.
George Hardison will be running a Coache's Clinic on Friday October 9th from 6-7PM in the MES Community Room. All recreational and travel coaches are strongly urged to attend this FREE clinic.

HOOP ACADEMY BASKETBALL SKILLS CLINIC WITH GEORGE HARDISON
We are happy to announce that Coach George Hardison will be working with the MYAL again this year to put on training sessions to increase basketball skills for the upcoming winter basketball season. He will be working with the girls and boys to improve shooting technique, dribbling, ball handling, defense, passing and team skills. This is for Boys and Girls Grades 4-8. Five sessions run on Fridays at the MES Community Room (6:30PM - 8:00PM for BOYS & GIRLS COMBINED). Sessions begin on Friday, September 18th and end on Friday, October 16th. $70 PER CHILD.

Registration for the spring season for the TriCounty Babe Ruth League has begun. Players from the following towsn are eligible to participate: Andover, Bolton, Colchester, Coventry, East Hampton, East Haddam, Hebron, Lebanon, Marlborough and Salem. Leagues will be offered in the following age groups: Preps (ages 12-13), Babe Ruth (ages 14-15) and Sr. Babe Ruth (ages 16-18). Ages are determined by the players age as of 5/1/2015.
