WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

MYAL is a 100% volunteer organization that relies on our parents to volunteer their time, energy and ideas to help provide a quality basketball program for our kids from kindergarten through high school.  

We understand that not everyone has coaching skills; but it takes a lot more than coaches to run this league.  We really need parents who have organizational skills to help behind the scenes.  We especially need the parents of the younger players to get actively involved as most of our MYAL volunteers have children that will be aging out of our program in the next couple years.  

Please volunteer your time today, the season is starting!  Below are committees that need volunteers:

Uniform Committee.  We need a 2 or more volunteers to take charge of our uniforms.  Volunteers handle the purchasing (as needed), organizing, distributing, collecting jerseys.  This generally requires your time at the start and end of the season.  

Equipment Committee.  We need 2 or more volunteers to organize equipment bags for distribution at the beginning of the season and collect & store basketball equipment at end of the season.    

Publicity Committee.  We need at least 2 volunteers to coordinate publicity for league events through MES, social media, flyers, local papers, etc.

Fundraising & Sponsorship Committee.   Looking for several people to help with the many fundraising opportunities available to us.
